Treveling – a great experience

I really like to travel because I learn and discover a lot of diffrent things. I really like to learn the native language, even if it’s just a few words and it comes in handy because not a lot of people here speak English, so that slightly annoying and it makes things a little bit more difficult. I really like to discover their culture, their habits and how their day to day life goes on. It really fascinates me how diffrent some countries are compared to others. Of course I really like to try out the local cuisine aswell. I love food and I like trying out new things. Churros are one of my favourite things I ate here, they’re delicious!

By the way, we don’t have a guide here, we’re on our own. Just me and Lara in the middle of an island. It’s a brand new city to me and it can get a little challenging finding your way around. I’m really glad that Lara is here with me and that she helps me out with navigation and pretty much everything I can’t do or I don’t know how to approach it. I mean if you get lost it can be really hard to find your way out. We don’t have access to internet everywhere and if you don’t know how to speak Spanish you’re basically stuck. Thanks God i watched spanish telenovelas so I know a little Spanish. Un poquito.

But don’t let this bother you or scare you away. If you have the chance GO! It’s really amazing and you’re going to miss out on a great experience if you don’t go. It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I would love to stay a little bit longer. I might even return at some point on my own.

Thank you Erasmus for new adventures and experiences.
