Dybbøl Bank Historical Center

During the weekend while we were in Sodenborg we visited the Dybbøl Bank History Museum. This one tells the story of the battles at Dybbøl in the war year 1864. Mainly through slides and films. They also recently renovated an old fort, a defensive moat, and two barracks. Around the museum are various monuments commemorating the war of 1864. For example, a memorial stone to Louis Appia and Charles van de Velde, who participated as the first Red Cross observers in world history. Since 2005, the historic center has been responsible for the day-to-day running of the Dybbøl mill. The tour was very interesting for me. I suggest it to anyone who can visit it and those that are interested in history.
