Olaaaa!
Today was the last day on Tenerife, so me and Zala decided to go on beach Playa Teresitas. We wanted to spend our last day at the beach with the most beautiful view. In the morning we did some things for school and made breakfast. Around 3 pm we went to the beach with the bus 910. When we came there we went swimming and we just lay down and caught the sun. It was so beautiful and sad because it was the last time. Around 7:30 pm we went on a bus to Santa Cruz. When we got to the town we wanted to go eat at KFC when we ordered food, Zala found out she had lost her wallet. In a panic, we started looking for it in her bag and on the way where we walked from the bus. Luckily she had her ID on herself. The wallet was still nowhere to be found so we decided to go look for it back to the beach. We looked everywhere where we were on the beach, but there was no wallet anywhere. Zala blocked her bank card on the way to the beach. Luckily, she only had a health and credit card in there, others were not that important. Since it was getting late, we had to walk to the station, which was further away from the one where we got off before. In the meantime, we also called the police, but no one could speak English and we could not communicate. When we arrived back to Santa Cruz we decided to ask the police officers who were there. We didn’t have much luck, they were not there so we had to wait about 30 minutes for them to arrive. While waiting, Staša and Anja brought us spread out nutella on the bread and water. We were lucky that at least one police officer knew how to speak English and told us that if the wallet was found, the person would take it to the station of lost find items, but it doesn’t work over the weekend. So it would make no sense to report anything. Luckily, Zala had a personal ID with her. So that she can return to Slovenia tomorrow, although I would rather stay here for a bit more. So never say never, we didn’t expect that we would go to the same beach twice in one day. We will for sure come back another time though, but that time be a little more careful.
