Taganana

Just another work day in the middle of week. Day before me and Amadeja were talking about place we want to see and visit. We still couldn’t believe that we are on Tenerife.

In the morning we already started thinking about maybe going somewhere. Every day was decided by weather. It was sunny and warm so after finishing our jobs we decided to go on a trip in a small village called Taganana.
After a while on bus, road started getting smaller, tinier and winding road. We were driving through the hills of National Park. Surprised by the road and view our eyes were taken by beauty. We were smiling and asking our self “what the actual shit we are doing??”. It’s called spontaneous adventure to unknown.
In the first second when we saw a black beach, we press the stop button and left the bus. In middle of nowhere on other side of hills, my breath was taken away. I was speechless because I love sea.
The smell of the sea, big waves, a big black rock to deeper ocean with the view point. Of course, there wasn’t a question if I would go.
Silence and nothingness took me away.  The felling of just being was priceless.
Realizing to late I was completely soaked by the ocean. The adrenalin hit me like crazy. I wish I would have taken my swimsuits because I would went swimming immediately.

Standing in ocean, felling of sinking and pulling your feet into the sand like live mud is still indescribable. I even can’t find the words to describe it. Scary, satisfactory, amazing.

We couldn’t stay later because we were already nervous about driving back. It was dark, nobody anywhere. There was a moment where my friend almost lost her nerves. Our mobile data didn’t work so the only thing we have to believe to it was a paper with bus timetables. This was our last bus to apartment.  Of course, it came.

Today we are laughing to this. Its unforgettable.
