First day

Sønderborg is a city with 27 thousand people. It has many beautiful areas to visit and gives off a very happy and cosy vibe. Houses here are much smaller than they looked in the pictures, I was quite surprised seeing them in real life.
We came to the college hostel with a bus. The receptor gave us a tour of the place and showed us to our rooms. We unpacked our bags and went out to eat,
McDonald’s was the closest place with food at that hour.

As we walked for 30 minutes the wind was blowing and it was really cold. They have the same prices as in Slovenia. After we came back to the hostel we went to our rooms, showered and went to sleep afterwards.
Tomorrow was school, we were all quite tired from travelling. In the morning at 7:45 am we met with our teachers downstairs at the front door of the hostel. We all together walked to the school, it was a 15 min walk.

As we came in I was shocked how big and open the place was. It has a lot of windows and free space. Thankfully they gave us a tour of the school first, because if they put us to class I would definitely fall asleep.
The school is nothing like ours back at home. First of all, it’s huge!
It has a lot of classrooms, two floors and it’s very expanded.
We were introduced to our teacher who will be teaching us for the next two weeks. He then took us on a tour of the school, first we looked at the upper floor then went down to the schools workshops.
