Wienerbrod

This is a Danish sweet pastry that is typical for Denmark.

I first tried this cake when it was brought to us by a Danish professor to try. The pastry tasted very good for me. So, the pastries ran out quickly.

The pastry is made from dough, wheat flour, milk, eggs, sugar and butter. The first of these cakes is said to have been made as early as 1850. When bakery owners in Denmark hired bakers from other countries. But they brought with them new baking traditions. And so, this cake was made at that time.

This cake, however, is still used today in various countries. However, it is not made up of the same ingredients.

I will also try to find this cake in Slovenia and buy it.
