My honest expectations

To be completely honest, my expectations for this erasmus exchange are pretty high. I was really excited when i found out that there was a possibility for me to go to Spain. I think the  first time i heard of this exchange opportunity was in my freshman year of  studying at siclj (fashion design program), but i wasn’t sure if i would be able to go. And now November is  rolling in and here I am packing my suitcases. I hope that this new opportunity will show me a world from a completely different perspective. I’m beyond excited to see the culture, people, food and especially their aspects of fashion and teaching. Besides the fact that I’m super excited to go explore Madrid, I’m also absolutely terrified that I won’t be able to find my way back to the apartment, but I’m sure me and Nina will be just fine. I’ve heard so many great stories from erasmus trips like this which makes me even more thrilled. The other day I was watching vlogs from tourists in Spain and I heard that the population of Madrid is 3,4 million. I hope and believe I will be pleasantly surprised by the weather there since Slovenia can be very cold in the fall. I can’t wait to be walking down the streets of madrid in less then a week, exploring a whole new city and learning a bunch of new things.
