City of Mikkeli is quite a small town in Finland. It has about 7,000 inhabitants. When we got there, it seemed that the city is so big and city have so much snow. From the hotel, where we lived and to the city was about 15 minutes, so we have all pretty close. In the hotel we have a very highly equipped and I like to live here. We also have a kitchen below so that we can cook and we are becoming better in cooking. The school where we went the first two days is just across the street. The only thing that bothers me is that a cash machine is so far from the hotel. Otherwise Mikkeli city is very interesting. It seems to me that in winter when snow is everywhere or in summer where everything is green and the lake is not covered with ice, it is very nice here. We came here just at the time when it was all a bit of a mixed, a little snow, a little rain, mud. So it seems to me that we have not seen all the beauty of Mikkeli. There is one big tower when you climb up when you see the whole city. I am very sad because we could not go up because it was closed. City Mikkeli is known for its church, everywhere where I go, or write to the internet in all the postcards is that church. But I think here is very nice to live. All you have at your fingertips, people are very friendly here. So I personal would or could love to live here :).
