Traffic in Denmark is different compared to ours in Slovenia. When we are walking towards school we mostly see small types of cars like
Suzuki Swift, Kia Picanto, Volkswagen UP, and some other small cars.
Denmark is also known for giving a big vehicle subsidy for electrics/hybrid vehicles. The subsidy can be as much as 100.000 DKK or around 13.500€, which is twice as large as you get in Slovenia. So for that reason, there is a lot less fuel usage which is not cheap in Denmark (around 2€ per litter). Many hybrid cars can also be seen on roads: Golf GTE or Golf-E, Ford Kuga hybrid…
Motorways in Denmark are free of charge for all vehicles with weight up to 12 tonnes. Because the public transport is excellent, you don’t need a car. People ride bikes in any weather.
