On Saturday, we went on a trip to Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city. Our first stop was the museum located in the city center, which I described in a previous part of my story. After exploring the museum, we headed towards the Tivoli amusement park, situated west of the city center.
The journey to Tivoli was quite a long, but once we arrived and purchased our tickets, we discovered that most of the attractions required additional fees. But we decided to experience the Adventure Park within Tivoli, which featured thrilling activities like ziplining and rope courses. The Adventure Park was veryextensive, and we spent a significant amount of time enjoying the challenges and excitement it offered.
After our adventure at Tivoli, we took some time to explore more of Aarhus. We quickly realized that Aarhus was a lot bigger and diverse city with much to offer. We visited a picturesque pier and later enjoyed a meal at a local restaurant.
As the day drew to a close, we made our way back to the train station and returned to our apartment in Hammerum.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day exploring Aarhus and were filled with anticipation for our upcoming weekend in Copenhagen, which marked our final weekend in Hammerum/Herning. We hoped to encounter similar journey and unforgettable experiences in Denmark’s capital city Copenhagen.
