I stayed in a city called Tampere in Finland. Finland is a nordic country that borders on Sweden, Norway and Russia. Its capital city is Helsinki in which our flight landed. Bit we stayed in Tampere which is about 160 kilometres away from Helsinki. Tampere is also quite a big city, it has the third most population in Finland, with about 250,000 people, right after Helsinki and Espoo. The city is between two lakes, lake Näsirjävi and lake Pyhäjärvi. The city is famous for its industries as in the past it used to be the center of Finnish industry. It’s also famous for its hockey rivalry between Tappara and Ilves. The city is quite quiet and the people are really nice. Even the people from Tampere say that it’s a boring town and that not much happens but that is good for some people and bad for others.
