Thursday morning at 8:40 our trip to Copenhagen finally started. We boarded the bus at Sonderborg central bus station and then departed to the Danish capital.
After almost five hours we finally arrived to our destination. After we got off the bus at Copenhagen train station, we had to walk circa 30minutea to our apartment. But we really didn’t mind as it was amazing walking through the big old city center while it was snowing a little. Perfect Christmas atmosphere. After we got to our apartment we quickly unpacked, because we had a plan to go see a few of the tourist attractions. In the night city is even more beautiful as the Christmas decorations here are really huge and nice. You can really see they go all out for Christmas. In that evening we went to see the big modern Royal library. It had around 6 floors and a beauty view point from where u could see all the floors beneath you and the other side of the big library. After that we went to the Christiansburg Palace and tower, which is home to Danish parliament and queens’ office. The view from the old tower was amazing. From up there you could see the whole city center and all the decorations, it was really cool. After that we went to check these huge gardens. Because of the Christmas they turned the gardens into a big Christmas market/amusement park.
After that it was already very late so we went home to get a good night’s sleep, because we had even more tourist points to see the other day.
