We are returning home today. Lučka and I woke up at 4:40 a.m., because we still had to finish packing and get ready for the long drive. We did it quickly and woke up our neighbor Rok to say goodbye. We connected with him and saying goodbye was very difficult, of course we shed some tears. We ordered a taxi for 5:40 and drove to the station. We had a train at 6:17 a.m., which luckily we could wait for indoors, as it was very cold outside. We got on the train and drove for 3 and a half hours to Helsinki or Tikurilla. After the ride, we had to change to the subway and drive to the airport, which was 10 minutes away. It took some time to get to “check in”. Here in Finland, they have very modern devices that print the card themselves, I’ve never seen anything like that before. We continued to the personal luggage control, where you and your personal luggage are checked. I went through without any problems, but Lučka had something beeping, so she had to go through the security check. It was a little funny to me, because Lučka is always put aside and examined. Together with the rest of the students, we got together and spent some time waiting to board the plane. We talked a little about our trip. It was time to get on the plane, we sat down and waited. Of course, it didn’t go through without complications and we were delayed by 15 minutes. We landed around after 13:30 p.m. At the airport in Warsaw, we waited about two hours until the next flight to Ljubljana. We were on the plane for about an hour and landed in Ljubljana. The other students and I were very sad because our suitcases didn’t arrive at the airport with us, so we will resolve the situation on Monday. Finally, after a month, I saw my family, which I was very happy about.
And with that our journey ends.
