Today we saw the water cutter cut 4 gears which were drawn in 3D model program used for the machine. First the machine has to warm up the oil in the machine. First the machine cut the circle in the middle, and then the shape of gears, when it was finished it continued to the next one and so on.
The next thing we did we were moving the robot arm on a teaching touchpad to get used to the movements and rotations. Then we wrote a program on the teaching pad that picked up some plasctic thing and moved it. Then we wrote another program that detected the material of the piece and moved and droped it on one or another designated place, more in the video.
