On Sunday, April 3, 2022, Nik and I went to the zoo, which was about 170 kilometers away
from our apartment. Since we had a car from the company where we did the internship, we
didn’t had a problem getting there. After our lunch we got in the car and drove towards the
zoo. The one-way drive took about two hours. In the zoo were two pandas in an enclosed and
heated space. We have seen wolves and bears too. After sometime we came to the more
northern animals reindeer and moose the most interesting to me. Next in line were wild pigs
that are almost the same as here. After that, we have seen the bison. At the end of the zoo,
they also had farm animals such as cows, chickens, sheep, and so on. My intention was to go
to the zoo because of the northern animals that we don’t have. They also had foxes, deers,
owls, wild pigs, wolves, I have seen these animals many times in the wild, some in the
Ljubljana Zoo and I was not as attracted to them like moose, reindeers, bisons, pandas or
other northern animals we have seen. We were at the zoo for about two hours. We looked at
25 different species of animals. We still had a long way to go back zo Vaasa. After a good
two hours of driving, we came back to Vaasa. However, since we had a car on the last day, we
went to see another building that is being renovated.
