Sonderborg is in the southern part of Denmark. There are around 27.000 people that live there. The city is located on two peninsulas, surrounded by the sea. They are connected by a bridge.
Sonderborg is a great city. The only problem that we had was the strong wind, which was annoying. In the central city, there is a shopping center, which we went often to because it was close to our school. The other shopping center was a bit further away, but we still went there on weekends when we didn’t have lunch in a hostel.
The center of the city was nice and clean. We didn’t see any trash lying around. Days during the week were quiet and we almost didn’t see anyone around. But weekends were more fun and a lot of young people were outside partying.
