Denmark´s culinary

At first glance, the food in Denmark is not so different from ours. However, I quickly realized that different foods taste very similar. This is due to the spices that are apparently used everywhere. One of the most popular spices in Denmark is definitely parsley. Danish cuisine often uses a lot of fresh parsley, which is used to make sauces, soups and side dishes. And cumin is also a very popular spice in Denmark, which is also added to bread, meat dishes and potatoes. Other common spices in Danish cuisine are salt, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger.
Here we have a buffet where we choose from different dishes and put together our own meals.
Around 7:15 we have breakfast in the student dormitory. I can choose between sandwiches and various cereals, bread and jam.
We have lunch at 11:50 at school. A typical meal includes protein (meat, fish, poultry or legumes), carbohydrates (rice, potatoes, pasta or bread) and lots of vegetables.
We have dinner at 17:45 and it is similar to lunch.
At the weekend we only have breakfast and dinner, so a lot of times I go for fast food like hamburgers, sandwiches, slices of pizza. Food here is very expensive in restaurants.

In any case, the food in the dormitory and school in Denmark is healthy, varied and balanced.
