The climate

Denmark is a small country located in Northern Europe, and as with many countries in the region, the weather in Denmark can be quite unpredictable. The country has a temperate oceanic climate, which means that the weather is generally mild, and the temperature rarely drops below freezing in the winter or gets too hot in the summer.

One of the defining features of Danish weather is its changeability. It’s not uncommon for there to be four seasons in one day, with sunshine, rain, and strong winds all possible within a few hours. This can be frustrating for residents and visitors alike, as it makes it difficult to plan outdoor activities. However, the unpredictable weather also gives Denmark a unique character, and it’s not uncommon to see people out and about, whatever the weather.
