We are on an exchange at the time, when it is important to meet certain conditions to attend even the smallest events, and wear masks indoors. This is the time of a disease called Covid-19.
I am on an exchange in Finland, which is one of the greenest countries. This means it has the fewest amount of patients infected with this disease.
With restrictions, life is regulated, if it has not already been regulated into the so-called “old normal life”. People do not wear masks anywhere. Admission to shops, schools, offices, restaurants and the others places is free without proof of eligibility. The same goes for using public transport. Wearing a mask is only recommended, not mandatory.
If I compare, life here in Finland is substantially different from life in Slovenia, where wearing a mask is mandatory everywhere, and without meeting the Covid instructions and restrictions you can't go anywhere. In the winter months, the government tightens the rules more and more. What worries me the most is how will I get used to wearing a mask on a daily basis and consider it as a mandatory piece of equipment again. Without fulfilling the conditions, I will not be allowed to go anywhere.
During this Covid time, life is better and more beautiful for the Finns, as their daily life is without “you have to…” and “you need to…”. I know it is bad what is going on around the world, but still …
