We woke up in beautiful sunny morning, we got ready and at about 8:30 we headed to TREDU.
In TREDU we met education coordinator Janne, who introduced us Tampere, school system in Finland and TREDU. School system in Finland is a bit different than ours in Slovenia, they have 9 years of basic school, if student wants, he can make 10th year of additional education. After basic education they can start working or they can go to general upper secondary education or vocational education and training, they have 3years of secondary school, after that they can go to university of university of applied sciences (Bachelor’s degrees), it takes 3 years to finish it. After work experience they can get master degree.
TREDU or Tampere Vocational College is very progressive, they have many other programs. They are teaching students in very interesting way. Logistic technicians are learning stuff in storages so they can see how work goes.
Janne showed us whole campus. It’s very big and there’s a lot of students from many other countries.
