After a few days at the first company, Avanti, it was time to go to another company called Avanza. Avanza is a company that deals with urban transport similar to LPP in Slovenia. When we arrived at the company, they welcomed and introduced us to their colleagues. Next, they took us to the offices, where they took photos of us for their website, and then the presentation of their company followed. After the presentation, they served us coffee and took us to the garage, where they repaired buses. Then we went outside, and they showed us the car wash and where the electric buses are charged. The workday went by quickly, and it was time to go home, but before we went home, a teacher in San Valero who also works for this company gave us an assignment to do a presentation on LPP. In the next few days, they presented us to the other departments, such as communication and control. They showed us every office and what they do there. Everyone in the company was friendly, and they were happy to answer all of our questions. The last day was when we had to present our work on LPP. They gave us an hour to get ready, but we waited for them for over an hour and a half. After a long time of waiting they came and we presented our work. They seemed interested because they asked many questions throughout the presentation, and we were happy to answer them all. After the presentation, everyone thanked us, and we took a photo together, but we didn’t know that this picture would end up in the news. Our coordinator sent us a link to the Zaragoza news the next day, and our picture was in it, and the story was about us in Avanza.
I think it was a great experience, and I learned a lot.
