Programming Siemens PLC Controllers and Electro Pneumatics
This week in class, we are focusing on programming Siemens PLC controllers, which I find particularly interesting, as both programming and technology have always fascinated me. Working with controllers provides a lot of practical knowledge that can be applied in the industry, while also fostering logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The tasks we are working on are very diverse – some are simple, while others are quite challenging. For the more difficult tasks, I had to seek help, which turned out to be a great opportunity for learning and exchanging knowledge with classmates and teachers. Through these challenges, I realized how important structured thinking and understanding the logic behind programmable logic controllers is.
After an introduction to programming, we moved on to electro pneumatics. This time, instead of using traditional relays, we used and programmed PLC controllers, which made the experience even more interesting. This allowed us to learn how to automate processes and adapt them to various industrial requirements. Electro pneumatics is a field that combines mechanics, electronics, and programming, which I find especially useful.
Working with PLC controllers has opened up new horizons for me and has further motivated me to continue learning. In the future, I look forward to tackling more complex projects where we can deepen and enhance our knowledge.
Programming and automation are indispensable in the modern world, so I am grateful that we have the opportunity to acquire such valuable skills while still in school. I hope that in the future, we will have more practical projects and challenges that will prepare us for the real-world workforce.
