Do we really have to go home already? I’m still asking myself this question…
So… Here it is. The last day here and I still can’t believe it’s over. We have to go home.
The hardest thing besides saying goodbye to Tenerife was packing all the clothes and other things into the suitcase. I had to sit on it so I could close it.
I’ll miss this place. I’ve learned a lot of new things. I’ve learned how to be more independent and how to live abroad where you don’t know anyone. But we survived. I’ve learned a lot of new things about different kinds of fabric and working with them at work. Me and Lara made shirts for ourselves. We designed them on a computer, then printed the design on the fabric and sewed it together. It was a great experience to see it from the beginning to the end and how it’s made.
I wish I could say that my English improved… But unfortunately it didn’t. Spanish people don’t speak English very well or they don’t even understand any of it. But there’s a good thing. My Spanish improved a little. But just a little.
