The distance between Slovenia and Finland is approximately two thousand kilometers. For nowadays traffic technology that distance is really small but for a single person it`s still very far. We can easely notice the difference even when we just try to communicate with other people. At other things even sooner.
Two thousand kilometers brings us alot more than just different geographic location. It means different culture, people, their daily habits, hobbies, systems etc.
Finns are at most known for their inaudibility at communicating with foreign people so its really hard to get the needed information by just asking random strangers if they can help. I´m not trying to say they are rude, it´s just in their nature.
In the past few years the most often word that you can hear is deffinetly corona. With it came the rules about social distancing, always wear face masks, stay at least two meters apart etc.
Most of the nationalities didn´t like it but that´s not the case when it comes to Finns. Now when they slowly abolish those rules they said: “Finally we can get back to the distance of four meters.” It sounds really strange but if you pay enough attention u can see that even on bus stations people stand really far from each other and that explains everything. Even that it`s just in their culture.
In basic I really like Finns ´´even tho´´ they are soo much different from us Slovenians.
