Today, we left school around 9 AM for a short adventure to a nearby forest with our teacher and first-grade students. The forest is about 2 kilometers from school, so we walked for 15-20 minutes to get there. The weather was around 0°C with a little wind, making it a bit chilly, but the walk was peaceful and easy.
Once we arrived, we set up a fire in a little open house near a frozen lake. The spot was calm, and we spent a few hours enjoying the fire. We brought sausages from school and cooked them over the flames, enjoying the warmth and the company of our classmates and teacher.
The mentor said they do these kinds of trips often. At the end it was a simple but fun experience.
