Today I went to school and did some welding practice with MIG (MetalInvertGas) process. I think this process of welding is the most common and popoular to use beacuse it’s easy, simple and quick. The gas that is inverted on the torch is Argon, from the torch comes wire whic is max 0.8 mm or min 0.3 mm. Depending how thick is the part that you are welding, first you have to set the amperage and wire feed speed beacuse that is the most important part to have your parameters set and correct. I was welding in different ways and positions, the easiest way is from right to left holding the torch with both hands and slowly making circles or triangles, zig-zag. The hardest way is from down to upper side, we made a welded pieces from sheet metal and then finished for the day.
