First thing that I saw in Zaragoza was how Spanish people are in general way smaller then in Slovenia.
For example, average height for men in Slovenia is 180 cm. Average height of Spanish men is 175. But I saw allot smaller Spanish men in Zaragoza.
But Zaragoza is more recognizable of their history. It has a lot of historical buildings. The main sight of Zaragoza is Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, one of the most important pilgrimage churches in Spain. Basilica is so big and you can see it almost from every part of Zaragoza. Basilica is along the banks of the Ebro River. Entrance to the basilica is from Plaza de pilar. Plaza de Pilar is the biggest squares in Europe and is fascinating how big is it. On a square is allot of bars where you can drink your morning coffee or beer.
Zaragozza has also a castle. It is called Aljaferia palace and in Arabic it means a Palace of joy. With geometrical shapes architecture is based on Islamic culture. King of the Taifa Saraqusta, ordered the construction of the palace in the second half of the 11th century. Today is inside located parliament of Aragon. It is very secured with guards and it was pretty scary.
