We took the bus at 9:18 on Monday, as our school started at 9:50.
We started the work in workshops where we chose what we would do. Some chose to work on lathes, milling machines or welding. I chose welding because I only tried it once. The professor gave me a chipped piece of metal – a flat tile and I drew straight lines on it with a felt-tip pen. The students showed how to cut and determine the length of the cut piece on an automatic metal cutting machine. To begin with, he showed how to turn on a welding machine and how to weld properly. Then I welded along the straight drawn lines. After the break, the professor also showed how to weld with overflow.
