Traveling to Denmark as part of my Erasmus exchange was an unforgettable experience. It was more than just a school visit—it was a deep dive into a new culture.
First Impressions
Denmark welcomed me with its clean streets, efficient public transport, and calm atmosphere. People seemed reserved at first, but once engaged in conversation, they were friendly and open-minded. Personal space and independence are highly valued here.
Education in Denmark
The Danish education system felt different yet refreshing. Classes were interactive, and teachers acted as mentors rather than strict authority figures. Students had a lot of freedom, which encouraged responsibility and critical thinking. They have a lot of high technology classes and equipment
What I Took Away
This trip taught me that cultural differences are something to embrace, not fear. Despite different traditions and lifestyles, kindness and curiosity connect us all. Denmark gave me new perspectives and memories I will cherish forever. I am also excited for upcoming experiences and learning opportunities.
