When I first arrived in Finland and got off a train I firstly took a look at its environment I thought it was a bit bland and empty but didn’t really put much thought into it, but the more I looked at it the duller it got and at the end of 1-week living there it made me a bit depressed but it started snowing and it brightened up the surroundings and it became more lively and less depressing. People at first seemed really closed and antisocial but once I started to speak with them they opened up. And it seemed like they were hard workers cause almost nobody was outside but I soon realized that they are just antisocial. their way of working was seen by me like they don’t know what the word fast means because of how slow they worked, and it really annoyed me at first but I soon just accepted it. When I went to a store to buy groceries I soon realized that the food is not cheap and that you don’t get the quality for set prices. What shocked me the most was the cars they were driving because the majority of people were driving very old cars and I guess that is because new cars had some taxes and that is causing what made them like 30% more expensive. and when I arrived there I was a bit surprised because it was only recommended to wear a mask and was like final I don’t have to wear that stupid mask. But in the end, I feel like it’s a nice country to live in.
