A few days ago me and my friends visited a museum of ships and seaplanes. This museum here actually makes a lot of sense because the city of Tallinn is right at the baltic sea. This trip happened on our first weekend here so we were pretty excited about visiting this museum. Even before we came here I did a quick google search if there is anything here that is themed like that here at Tallinn. Nonetheless, even professors that came here with us visited the museum and said that this is something that you must see in Tallinn. Now onto the fun part what is actually inside of this museum and what was in this building before they decided on the museum. Well before this building was a museum, this was a military hangar for seaplanes, just for reference, this hangar is so big that you can put in three Boeing 747 inside. Inside of this big hangar is now a museum and a big submarine a couple of old planes and plenty of interactive points which are very impressive. Of course, we dove into the submarine and took a look at how was life on board. Let’s just say that all is very narrow and small. The most mind-blowing thing there were all of the artifacts and personal things of sailors, like notebooks, packs of cigarettes, and so on. I mean just imagine someone bought those like 70 or more years ago. When we went outside we were amazed by warships and the crown jewel the old ice-breaker with 3 steam-powered engines. It was even better when we found out that we can actually go inside a ship and see all technology from that time. When we came back from the museum and when the day ended we watch the movie Kursk. So in short the whole day was themed about nautical things and stuff that is related to the sea.
