The thing I liked the most in Madrid was the nice and sunny weather they have. In Slovenia there was snow and cold but in Madrid we could go around in shorts and t-shirts. But even there there were bad days and rain. The next thing i liked was the pubilc transport and accsesibility to get around. There were bus stops, and metro entrences everywhere, so where ever you want to go you wont have problem getting to it. And people were very friendly, one day when we went out to get a drink there were some locals that asked us were are we from, and so the conversetion started. And the long brake at work is also fine, but only if its 1 hour, if its longer it starts to get boring.
I also liked exploring the city and looking at beautifull architectur and big buildings which you dont see in Slovenia.
