As long as we are in Denmark, we saw only few hours of sun. Every day is cloudy and windy, but it’s not that cold. Average temperature is around 11°C at day. The weather changes all the time, especially when we are in the school. When we work outside, we need to have warm clothes, so that we don’t freeze.
Today it was raining, so the teacher gave us a work suit, that was waterproof. It was very helpful, because we didn’t get wet. We worked outside with the crane, like every other day. Our team now tried different trucks, so we get used to all of them. By the truck there was a lot of scrap metal, all kinds of sizes. We had to use straps and ropes to load the cargo. Some of them required good thinking and logic. Because our team is so good, we didn’t have a problem with any of them. Teacher gave us new challenges that were harder than most of them, and still managed to load and unload them. Between work it started raining a lot, so the teacher told us to get into the classroom.
Classmates were kind enough to take me and my friend on a tour around the school. The school is bigger than expected, they have huge garages that mechanics work in. They also have plumbers, and they practice on real pipe connections. This school really cares for practice work and that’s a great thing. Student’s get a good feel about their future job/work. When we were done with the tour, it was still raining like mad. Then we went to play ping pong with the student. We Slovenians weren’t so bad at it, so we won a couple of times.
The rain cleared out and we went back to work. After clouds cleared, sun shined and it was very nice. When we finished, teacher let us to drive the truck. It was my first time driving one, and it was fun, because you sit high and the steering wheel is larger then in cars. Classmate showed us how to drive it. We were thankful that he did that.
After school we went to fitness like always, and after it, straight to dinner. Food here is delicious, so we never save free space in our stomachs. By the time we are free, it’s already late to do anything, so we just slowly go to sleep.
