When we left Sønderborg, it was already evening. The bus driver picked us up at the student home, and the ride was very nice. We talked to him the whole way, and he told us a lot about Denmark. When we arrived in Tønder, he dropped us off in front of our new student home. The new headmaster showed us around.
The next day, we had school, where we worked with a plasma cutter and welding. Our new teacher took us around the city, which is very small. He showed us the main attractions and told us where we could eat. It was nice to see the area before starting work.
Back at school, he explained what we would be doing that week. The school is well-equipped, and we saw the machines we would use. I was most excited to try the plasma cutter. The first day went well, and I am looking forward to learning more.
