SønderborgTHE JOURNEY
Early in the morning, we met in front of the school, and we took a van that took us to the airport in Zagreb. The flight lasted about two hours, but most people were knocked out, so it went by fast. When we landed, we had to wait for a train that took us from Copenhagen to Sønderborg. That part felt like it took forever.
DORMS
By the time we got to our rooms, it was already evening. They quickly showed us around the area and then we were free to do whatever. We went to check out the city, just to see what it was like. It was dead quiet, almost no one around. We heard that Danes are kinda reserved, and yeah, it really felt like that.
THE CITY
Most of the buildings are made of bricks because they believe they last longer and keep the heat in. Also, their sidewalks are a mess—way more uneven than anything in Slovenia. The whole city looks super old, like something you wouldn’t really see back home. One thing we did notice was how clean and organized everything was, no trash or anything. The city was pretty chill not much traffic, no loud noises everything is quiet.
