Ola, que pasa?
It is our third day here in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and I must say that so far everything is going great, we had a bit of a hectic accommodation not going to lie. After we arrived at the Tenerife Norte airport we waited for a taxi to come pick us up and drive us to the given address of the apartment where me, Antea, Anja and Staša are staying for the next 4 weeks. Ramon, who is also a teacher at the CIFP Las Indias, welcomed us with the keys of the apartment.
We quickly unpacked all our stuff, changed clothes and made our way to the centre of the city. By that time I’ve already figured out that Spanish people may not be the most fluent in English haha, but on the other hand far away from being kind and very welcoming.
So yes, we walked around a bit, to get familiar with the streets which are not the easiest to get to know but after a few days you start to get a feeling where everything is located. We also walked to the amazing looking opera-Auditorium of Tenerife.
After we came home, I was so excited to take a nice shower and lie in bed after a whole day but the water wasn’t hot at all, I thought this cannot be true haha, but it didn’t stop us. Thankfully we solved this problem the next day.
As I already said, Tenerife really made a great first impression on me. Everything from the people, city, food and I can’t wait for to see what we’ll experience in the upcoming days here. 🙂
