It is 5 times bigger than ours…

Haii,

Today we went to our school for the first time. We introduced ourselves to the Finnish teachers and some of the students. We expected that they were not going to be very talkative but they were very nice and easy to speak to. When we came to school we got a welcome coffee and a snack. After the presentation of their school, which is at least 5 times bigger than ours in Ljubljana, they took us on a tour of the school and showed us the workshops and warehouses. We were shocked and pleasantly surprised about all the advanced technology that they have. The thing that shocked us, was that they can learn how to drive trucks, forklifts and busses in very realistic simulators. When we finished our trip around the school, we met some of the logistics students. The students told us that they can drive a car and one passenger beside them, from their home to school without a parent’s presence and even without driving licence. It is very interesting to us that the people who study logistics in Finland are privileged to drive before they turn 18, even if it’s just from their home to school. The school also has a cafeteria where we can eat lunch every day. Today we had the privilege to take the coffee from the teacher’s cafeteria. Our first day has exceeded all of our expectations! The energy and kindness of the people here is incredible! We are looking forward to learn and experience new things in the next few weeks.

see ya next time, until then,

moi moi (bye bye),

Ana and Aneja
