TODAY IT LASTED 15 MINUTES

Today was an interesting day at our new school. So, our ride to school is no longer 1 hour long, we now drive for only 15 minutes. Today our school day started at 9am, so we woke up at 8.15, dressed up and went to school. When we arrived our mentor Timo, came to us and lead us to the workshop. There was another mentor his name is Tommy. We asked him, if our working clothes are appropriate for work. He told us, that we don’t have to worry, because we won’t do any welding today. And tomorrow we will get new ones. We changed and checked out the whole workshop. After that we got a task. We needed to cut 200 pieces of metal squares (100x100mm). When we finished Tommy showed us a waterjet cutting machine. Of course we wanted to try, because we never worked with it before. We cut off 12 blossoms and then Tommy told us that we are going to do something different. During the day we were also talking about hockey and he told us, that he actually played hockey when he was younger and even became coach, for 2 Finnish hockey teams. We switched the metal plate and started the program. First we were just looking at what Tommy prepared for us and then we realized that there were logos of the best hockey clubs in Finland. At 2pm we went home, but left the machine on, because it is automatized and it wasn’t finished jet. Can’t wait for tomorrow, to see the results.

 Until then…. Jaka
