I have mostly positive impressions of Zaragoza and Spain in general. The city is beauiful and full of life.
Zaragoza is a city of 700,000 inhabitants and yet it feels small. Because everything is concentrated around the city centre, you can go to most places on foot. Not like that is a bad thing. Going on foot is great, you get a taste for the achitecture and culture. Even the weather invites a nice walk, with clear skies and warm temperatures. The people are very nice and really helpful. They know English surprisingly good, unlike elsewhere in Spain.
But not everything is so nice. The traffic organization was seemingly done by someone, who had no idea what he was doing. How people get around with cars I still don´t know. Even the public transport is slightly confusing. Buses have stops but not all buses have the same stop. For example: one bus has a stop at a parking lot, the other bus has its stop about 5 meters away, but will not stop on the other one.
