Not having travelled a lot from the outbreak of coronavirus, I had enjoyed the trip so far, and I am excited of what will come next. Having flown with a plane after a very long time, it was fun, but I prefer not to take one, if it’s inside Europe. It was also my first time on a coach double decker, because I don’t like to travel long distances on coaches, preferring a train, for increased space and comfort.
It started with the transport from Ljubljana to Venice with a van, but a van from the travelling agency, unlike the one that took us back when we returned from Spain, which was a Go Opti van. With airport check in, security and boarding complete, we boarded our flight to Madrid, which unlike Venice, was much bigger and easier to get lost at. Our flight was flown by an “short distance” (for the airline world) Airbus plane, operated by Spain’s national carrier Iberia. The airplane was very cold, throughout the whole flight, with it being the first flight for this airplane that day, staying overnight in Venice. With no heating being turned on for the rest of the flight, in fact the air condition was on, till we left the plane. We arrived in Madrid, got our bags and looked for the bus terminal. Having found it, realising that it was a little far from the terminal, where shops, cafes and other retail places and we had still a lot of time till the coach to Zaragoza. When the coach eventually came, we saw that it was actually a double decker. We actually got the best seats in the whole bus, the first row on the top floor. The bus had various entertainment features, like a monitor in front of every seat and others, but I didn’t fully use the features. Having started at 1 am in Ljubljana, I was very tired and I slept a little on the plane, I had a little nap on the bus also. We arrived in Zaragoza actually a little early with Alex meeting us there and escorting us to our apartment.
It was very fun to travel again and exited to travel some more.
