Being sent to a different country for four weeks is quite the experience.
You really are put to the test and you can see how independent you actually are. From cooking to communicating with other people doing your laundry and cleaning you can see how life actually is when you’re fully grown up. I learned that I’m pretty good at most of the stuff already, but I have increased my skills on that field even more. In the workshop I’ve also increased my knowledge in some parts, because every workshop does something different and that is really interesting to me. Having a car really made things a lot less complicated, We could go to the shop whenever we wanted and see more of the town and it’s surroundings than we would if we were on foot. Our friendship has also increased over the past four weeks and thats what actually matters in life, because life without friends would be boring. Of course we’ve had our ups and downs, mainly on ”who will be doing the dishes” part, but we’ve came around it somehow. My english has also gotten better I suppose, I’ve been speaking it every day for the past month.
I think this was an unique experience and I probably won’t get anything similar ever again. I am reccomending to everyone that if they have this opportunity, go for it.
