Last Sunday in Madrid we decided to go to the old city of Toledo.
For me the day started at 7 am, first i took a shower and then ate breakfast. We left our appartment at 8:20, and used metro to get to the starting point of our trip. When we got out from metro we saw that we are a little late, so we huried to the bus. On the bus ride to Toledo the guide told us about the history of Toledo which was built in the roman times.
When we got to Toledo we started our walking tour in the town square named Zocodover. We continued the tour to the statue of Miguel de Cervantes who wrote Don Quixote and to the museum of Santa Cruz. Then we walked the narrow streets of Toledo to the chatedral Santa Maria de Toledo, and to the jewish quarter where we saw old synagogue de Santa Maria La Blanca. There we finished our guided walking tour. Now we had 5 hours of free time and we decided to first go to a café where we made our plan for the day. First we went to the monastery San Juan de los Reyes and continued to the Alcazar of toledo where we also visited the war museum. The museum was interesting But aftet 1h it started to get a little bit boring, because they have a lot of the same things. In the museum we spent about 3 hours.
We finished the trip in Toledo with looking at shops and eating lunch. The way back was realy hot, so I tried to sleep through most of it. After about An hour we Got back to Madrid and concluded our trip.
