Today we went on a tour to a company that produces motors for floor heating. The whole class was coming to visit. Danish teacher came to pick us two up at the student dorm with his car, then we went to the company’s production building. All of the student were right on time, so we started right away. Building was very clean and modern looking. One of the employees took us to the meeting room. Unfortunately they only spoke in Danish the whole time, so I didn’t understand a thing. Lucky for us they had a few bowls full of candy chocolate and some sodas. After the presentation they took us on a tour around the company. They had relatively small storage for their production, that’s why they use a different strategy for storing. The good’s must be stored for shortest time possible and they often produce on demand. The equipment was very high tech and advanced. When the tour was over, we went back to school with the teacher. He also showed us some of the places that are worth visiting. At the school, teacher and students talked about what they had seen and learned about. But it was mostly in Danish, so it was quite boring.
Visit to a company and first experience of the bus drive
For the way home, we had to go on a bus, but the right bus didn’t came at time, so other bus came before it. We asked the lady that was driving, if this bus goes to student dorm in Sonderborg and she said yes, however the bus drive should already be paid for but the lady didn’t let us in until we paid. Suprasingly she took euro’s for payment. After about 10 minutes of driving we figerd out that the bus is going the wrong way, so we asked one of the passengers if the bus goes to Sonderborg and he said it doesn’t. We were little confused about the situation. The passenger told us, we could change bus at the bus station. One of the the passengers showed us the bus that we were supposed to go on. We didn’t have to pay again and the bus took us to Sonderborg. It took more than 2 hours from the end of class and when we came to the student dorm. In the evening we went to have a look at the center of the city, but most of the stores close at 19:00, only the stores with food and drinks are open a little longer. We walked quite a bit, so my legs hurt and then I just went to sleep because I had to wake up early the next day.
