On 26 March we visited the University of San Jorge. We met with the teacher at around 12.30 and she took us to the University, which is a 15-minute drive away.
When we arrived they welcomed us nicely and they paid for our lunch in their canteen. We could choose between different dishes but we decided to go with safe options and just ordered pasta and fries with fried meat.
After lunch, a teacher at the university showed us different laboratories and classes for chemistry. Then he took us to a different building and he showed us rooms that looked exactly like hospital rooms. The rooms were equipped with everything that you can find in hospitals they even have realistic dolls that they can program with different diseases like cardiac arrest, stomach pains… The dolls looked scary to us because they looked exactly like real people.
We continued to the next building where they study law and journalism. First, he showed us the law class that looked like a court. Since we were all excited about the classroom, we decided to try out what the trial looked like. Luka L. was a judge, Tjaša and Luka Š. were lawyers and I was a convict. My lawyer Tjaša defended me well and that’s why we won and I didn’t go to jail.
After the fun trial, we went to the radio room where we could try out to be radio presenters. And after that, the best thing that happened was he showed us a real studio where they could shoot TV shows. The studio was equipped with professional cameras, a green screen, and a sound room. At the end of our tour, he showed us their swimming pool, fitness and sports center.
We were all excited about what this university has to offer and joked about enrolling here next year.
